About gloofi

gloofi was started in December 2006. During that time I found some free time to think about the horrible results you get at any current search engine. The results are tempered so that only the ones having SEO’s or the ones knowing how to get links to their pages are in top positions at a result. Many times the result does not reflect what you were looking for, for example:

I searched for warehouse in my area and got many job offerings but not the warehouse. Than I added more information to the result to get a more specific result…and… I got even more 2,435,000 pages!!!! What do I want with that result. Also I tried to search for a website I finalized a couple of month before. Google showed me “found 500″ items, but when I clicked on the 4th page, no more items there!!! I clicked on the link to get the pages that come from that website, hoping there are the missing 460 pages, but…no. Just about 25 pages there.

All that got me thinking and that is why I created gloofi, to get you, the user involved in creating the best result there is with as many options and functions possible to make search fun again.
